Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Growing up, we were taught to live exemplary lives, responsible and above all make meaningful impact in our society. I am forever grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for giving me the opportunity to become a better person well positioned to helping families, individuals and communities to discover their own success. My name is Awal Mohammed Muhsin, a student of the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Ghana, offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. I am in the 5th year.
I was accepted into the Educational Pathways International Scholarship program a few years back and it will be an understatement to even begin to estimate the positive impact of the scholarship program in my academic and personal life. I was living off campus before I had the scholarship which had a negative bearing on my academics in the sense that, I was almost always late for lectures making it difficult for me to fully understand lectures. I moved onto campus after gaining EPI’s Scholarship. I am always early to lectures and fully concentrated during the discussion and also make meaningful contributions. This has seen a massive improvement in my personal studies and in my grades as well. The yearly seminars organized by Educational Pathways International on topics such as career guidance and public speaking have developed me intellectually and socially as I am able to interact well with those around me and also giving me great presentational skills.
Within the course of last year, I was appointed the Electoral Commissioner of my department due to the diligent work I did serving as the Secretary to the Electoral Commission the previous year. I also participated in the yearly quiz competition representing my class for which we came in second. I engaged in extracurricular activities by captaining my class team in our annual departmental soccer games for which we could not defend our title coming in second as well. I also took part in screening of the inmates at the Tamale prisons for Hepatitis B infection during our yearly community outreach program. All of the above, would not have been possible if I had not moved into campus which improved my academic performance giving me the confidence to engage myself in these activities whiles improving myself in the practical aspects of my course.
It is a great source of happiness and satisfaction to me to be able to assist and make positive changes in the lives of those around me. I decided to pursue a career in Medical Laboratory Science because it gives me the opportunity to help improve the health conditions of individuals, families and communities at large. After my studies, I intend to practice in the laboratory which will aid me to research on hepatitis B a main health concern in my community. Ghana as a nation develops through her human resource. I find myself in the Choggu Yapalsi community in Ghana where I feel and know that I can help develop by providing initiatives. After graduation, I shall like to enable provide tuition and guidance to the younger generation by forming a network of role models who will have a positive impact on everyone.
I am grateful to have the opportunity of being part of the Educational Pathways International family which is not only helping me complete my studies but also guiding me towards having a successful career in the near future. Through the generosity and assistance provided by Educational Pathways International, students like myself who are constantly battling for the right to receive education and become successful have the platform to become successful giving us the chance to become catalyst for positive changes in our communities and Ghana at large. Thank you.

Growing up to be a responsible and impactful individual in my society has always been my dream and Educational Pathways International (EPI) has provided the opportunity for me to become a better person well positioned to make my dream a reality. My name is Awal Mohammed Muhsin, a student of University for Development Studies (UDS) in Ghana, offering Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science. I am in the 5th year.
I was accepted into the Educational Pathways International Scholarship program. To even begin to estimate the positive impact of the program in my academic and personal life will be an understatement. Before the scholarship program, I used to live off campus. Living off campus always made me late for lectures and I was always tired because of the distance. Due to the scholarship program, I was able to move into a private hostel on campus. After moving into campus, I have never been late for a lecture and I am always sharp during lectures. My personal studies have seen massive improvements which has given me better understanding of what is being taught in class.
Within the course of the year, I took in part in the maiden edition of the Megalpteri Physicus organized within my department to determine the scientist of the year which I won the first position. I was also appointed as the Secretary of the Electoral Commission in my department. I took part in some extracurricular activities and captained my class football team to win its first football trophy at the Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science departmental games.
My passion in life has always been assisting people and trying to bring happiness and positive change into the lives of others. I therefore decided to pursue a career in Medical Laboratory Science since it will provide me the opportunity to help improve the health conditions of individuals and learn about the medical needs of individuals, families and communities at large. After completion of my studies, I plan to practice as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and I intend to add my knowledge to the hepatitis research field. The development of Ghana starts within her communities. I am privileged and lucky to find myself in the Choggu Yapalsi community in the northern part of Ghana where I feel I can help develop by providing initiatives.
After graduation, I shall like to enable provide tuition for the younger generation in Choggu Yapalsi and if possible create a community trust fund with the help of community members that will cater for the educational needs of these young children should the need arise so that, they will be able to attain education to the highest level and impact significantly in Choggu Yapalsi and contribute to the future development of Ghana.
I am grateful to have this opportunity that Educational Pathways International is providing to students like me who are constantly fighting for the right to receive an education and become successful. My appreciation goes to Educational Pathways International for their generosity and assistance. Their generosity and assistance will not only help me realize my dreams of one day having a successful career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist but will also in the near future enable me help countless families, individuals and communities get the healthcare and treatment they need, giving these set of people the best chance at finding their own success.
I feel blessed and grateful to have an opportunity like this that enables me to be a catalyst for positive change in Ghana and the world at large. I am truly grateful to Educational Pathways International and I am hopeful of building a long lasting and fruitful relationship with them. Thank you.
