My name is Margaret Morgan Wright, and I am a final year student at the University for Development Studies in Ghana, pursuing a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science degree.
As a needy yet brilliant student with goals to achieve in life, my focus has always been to attain higher education. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Educational Pathways International Scholarship for their generous support. I was thrilled to learn that I had been selected as one of the recipients of the Educational Pathways International Scholarship for the 2018 year group.
Thanks to the generosity of the Educational Pathways International Scholarship, my dream of becoming a Medical Laboratory Scientist has become a reality. Receiving this scholarship has been a game-changer for me. Growing up in a low-income household, I never imagined that I would have the opportunity to attend university, let alone pursue my dream career. This scholarship has provided me with financial support, recognition, and encouragement, and has enabled me to pursue my dream of higher education. With the financial support of this scholarship, I have been able to pursue my university education with the goal of becoming a Pathologist, with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
I chose to pursue a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science degree because of my passion for helping others, as well as the competitive earning potential in the healthcare sector. After obtaining my first degree, I intend to further my education and pursue my dream of becoming a pathologist. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to society. I plan to embark on a project to educate the youth on career guidance and how to prepare themselves towards their career goals.
Not only has this scholarship allowed me to focus on my studies without the added stress of financial worry, but it has also given me the chance to participate in various volunteer activities and community service. By participating in these community services, I have been able to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and learn valuable skills, insights, and perspectives that have enriched my academic experience and prepared me towards achieving my career goals. Moreover, this scholarship has motivated me to work harder and strive for excellence in everything I do. My zeal to attain academic excellence has been boosted and I thank Educational Pathways International (EPI) for awarding me a comprehensive scholarship.
EPI has lightened my family’s financial burden, which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of my schooling. Educational Pathways International Scholarship has thought me the need to give back to society. I am and forever be sincerely grateful for being a beneficial of Educational Pathways International Scholarship. The scholarship has helped me to have a sound and stress-free mind for studying hard and maintaining a better GPA.
I choose Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science because of the passion I have to help others and the competitive earning in the health sector. After my first degree, I would further my studies in Hematology and Public Health and follow my dream as an Entrepreneur and a Lecturer because I believe in giving back to society. I will be embarking on a project to educate the youth in Senior High School, on the need to pursue academic excellence.
