I discovered EDRC through the "Be Beautiful" Contest flyer in our Local library. I was looking to volunteer in something that was more near to me, other than the school volunteering, something that would resonate and would be more personal. When I discovered EDRC, I immediately knew this is the place, having suffered from ED for many years and being able to overcome it , this was a cause that was near to my heart. Mental health plays an important role in my life, and I know how important it is having the right resources and support to be able to help the loved ones that suffer from any mental health issue. I feel very blessed to be able to volunteer in such a wonderful cause. I am so thankful that many families and sufferers from ED have such a wonderful team that are doing all what is in their hands to find support and treatment, also educating and raising awareness.
