I had the opportunity to host Giorgia, a foreign exchange student from Italy for the spring semester. I was thankful for Marlo who answered all of my questions when I was deciding if this was something I wanted to do and for her help while having Giorgia here. It’s been fun learning about the Italian culture and eating the pasta Giorgia makes. As someone who is single with no kids, I was concerned that I would be in over my head with this, but that hasn’t been the case at all. I’m so glad I choose to be a host so Giorgia could experience Texas culture and the Houston Rodeo.
