Luna, our German Exchange student, arrived In August and it has been a wonderful experience, so far. Originally, she was to only stay for the semester but decided to extend her stay for the entire school year. We were thrilled! Luna’s English is amazing and she has had all A’s. She has attended every family event, tried every food, even though she is a VERY picky eater, participated in Volleyball, One Act Play, and Tennis. She has embraced small town life, in Central Nebraska, way better than we expected. We have had great communication with STRIVE and her family.The only difficult thing is knowing we have to say goodbye. We will definitely host another student!
