I love supporting anything that promotes women. I feel, as Friendship Bridge does, that if change is needed... find the women. When I discovered Friendship Bridge, I was blown away by the simplicity and effectiveness of the organization. Then I went on an Insight Trip where I got to meet staff, tour the office and educational facilities and learn about the medical programs. But the most convincing testament to the heart of Friendship Bridge was meeting the artisan clients themselves. Seeing them starting out many times as victims and growing into empowered women contributing to their families and communities. I've yet to see a charitable grassroots organization as successful as Friendship Bridge. Not to mention the value it has brought to my own life...meeting and working together with such amazing women!
