My Second Graders were lucky enough to experience the virtual elk program, and they couldn't stop talking about it! Not only was it incredibly informative, but the presenter was engaging and sparked excellent conversations in my classroom. Both the presentation and the accompanying trunk were well-organized and age-appropriate. I loved that even though we're about 3.5 hours away from the center, my students were able to still have the ability to learn about this fascinating part of their state's history. I would absolutely continue to host the program in coming years should the virtual option remain available!
