Review for You Can Thrive! Foundation, New York, NY, USA
I found You Can Thrive in early December 2010, a few weeks after I was diagnosed with Stage IIb breast cancer at the age of 37. Cancer is a devastating diagnosis and I was terrified and willing to do whatever it took to survive. At You Can Thrive, I found a vibrant network of women who understood what I was going through, as well as a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to helping women by providing them with quality integrative care. At the time of this writing, I have been through five rounds of chemo with three more to go. After that, I will have surgery and radiation. My response to chemo has been excellent - my tumor is shrinking and my lymph nodes are now clear. In addition, my side effects have been minimal, allowing me to live a normal life. I know that I will beat this cancer and I am deeply grateful for the wonderful compassion and support that I have found at You Can Thrive.

This organization needs permanent space to be able to provide constant care. I hope that You Can Thrive will be able to open their doors to a new Wellness Center in 2011.
