When we had a house fire we lost not only our house and everything in it but our beloved dog Bronaugh. Our family was devastated that we had lost our sweet bgirl in the fire. It was a tough time on us all.
A year had passed and our friend Kay Hyman reached out to us about a puppy that recently came in that was abandoned at an apartment eviction. She instantly thought of us and asked if we might be ready for a new member of our family. Enough time had passed and our family was definitely ready . The next day my daughter and I went to meet her and instantly fell in love with her. We arranged to adopt her and picked her up a few days later. She has been a sweet part of our family ever since.
Charleston Animal Society is a great organization dedicated to helping all animals find a loving home they deserve. They truly care about the animals and the people they place together. The whole process is professional and enjoyable. The programs and training they offer are top notch as well. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt. Thanks again Kay for helping us find Pearl girl! Forever grateful!
