Review for Project Hope, Roxbury, MA, USA
They made promises for the tenant and never paid, to top it off they they sent promissory note after promissory note and only after I complained to a director did anyone bother to cut a check for half of what was promised. Then they left the tenant hanging who is currently behind for two months of the three additional months they promised. Any additional attempts to contact them was met with silence and non response. I initially accepted them as a way for the tenant to pay her rent because they were known to be transparent in their dealings but after this experience I have told anyone I know or asks about whether I would recommend them to run for the hills. I will NEVER accept them as an option for any tenant ever again and feel bad for anyone who goes to use their services since they obviously dont care about them.
They should be ashamed of themselves for scamming both tenants and landlords.
Project Hope received thousands of applications for Eviction Prevention during the Covid pandemic. We processed these applications and made payments to the landlords, keeping families housed and landlords paid. We regret that payment to this landlord took longer, but are happy to note that he did receive payment.
