I am a volunteer, board member and referral partner. The service that we provide to widows gives them such relief. Many times a widow is left with a financial situation that she doesn't understand - it may be good or bad, but during a time of grief it is too overwhelming. By being there to guide her through her finances, it is one small way that we can help her to take control of her life in a situation that may feel completely out of her control. And, it is completely free to her. In addition, if she needs further services, such as legal advice, insurance or other services, we have a safe network to refer her to so that she will not be taken advantage of.
