My Nonprofit Reviews
Leonore T.
Review for The Center For Anti-Violence Education Inc, Brooklyn, NY, USA
It was an honor to work briefly at CAE in an administrative role, and to see the hard work and dedication that is inherent to their transformational work. I am in awe of the many vibrant and passionate individuals who have committed to bettering their communities with CAE's help.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
My role at CAE was a crash course in the intense world of non-profit work, especially the discourse surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault. CAE gave me the opportunity to learn a repertoire of useful skills, from the intricacies of new software to the management of in-office financials, But the most rewarding aspect of my time at CAE was, without a doubt, seeing how their work has the ability to radically change lives for the better.

CAE's staff and volunteers are industrious, passionate and dedicated to their work. What this organization needs is the funding and recognition to continue their life-changing work and to reach more people in the New York City area. Non-profits suffer during economic recessions, but the disadvantaged groups they work with need these particular services as much as -- if not more -- than ever. It's absolutely essential that CAE has the financial stability to continue its mission.
