I heard of Akshaya from my good friend Latha who is also now a board member. She had visited Akshaya and met with Narayan Krishnan. Just listening to the details was so emotionally moving. It takes a lot of selflessness to take that first step to make a change in the lives of the old, homeless and hungry that we see everyday but pass by without a second glance. Hats off to Mr. Krishnan and the work he is doing.
