I teach a 5th/6th grade combination class and have had the opportunity of witnessing the power of tutoring! Observable differences include improved reading scores, heightened confidence, and an overall positive effect on how the student(s) view reading. A good tutor-student connection is like a really great recipe. EVTA is definitely cooking up success in its choosing of personable, patient, culturally responsive, and knowledgeable tutors for our students in need. Thank you!!
