I am a graduate of Bastyr University and successfully established a naturopathic medical practice in Texas and New York. While my life brought me back to medical nonprofit work, I must say that in every way my education at Bastyr was worth the time and energy spent. Each and every role I have assumed since graduating with my doctoral degree has provided me with greater and greater ways to help my community and to grow professionally. While BU does have challenges -- it is an institution that is committed to making a difference in the lives of people worldwide. It is NOT just about medicine...this school is crafting amazing counselors, nutritionists, dietitians, acupuncturists, herbal medicine experts and so much more.
