San Diego Dance Theatre has enriched my life in many ways. First of all, they are a great company with great performances which I really enjoy as an audience member. They incorporate live music often and encourage artistic collaboration, and often incorporate works by company members.
In addition, Jean Issacs provides regular showcases where new and up and coming choreographers can showcase their works. As a dancer, this organization means a lot to me personally because they provide wonderful dance classes with great teachers that I study with. The showcases allow me to work towards performing when I take class.
Overall, it's a great organization that contributes an enormous amount to San Diego and beyond!
