I heard of them one time on a public radio supporter bit. After visiting the site, I've continued to revisit. It's a perfect gathering of all or most parts of many hot issues of the day--but without yelling and other noise. It pairs the best pro and con arguments side by side.
Over recent years, I've corresponding with them by email with either feedback or questions and--wonder of wonders!--they are very responsive, and quick about it. They're clearly run by just real people.

I'd get rid of their "have you signed up for our newsletter?" pop-up on the home page. I am on their newsletter but I do NOT keep cookies on my PC.
