Review for Operation Gratitude Inc, Chatsworth, CA, USA
Having voluneered over 100 hours each year for the past 5 years at various organizations, I will say that Operation Gratitude is one of my favorite. Talk about a sense of pride and loyalty to your Country!! I know every time I walk through the door to volunteer that I AM doing something that will touch the heart of the receipient of my packages. Whether I am sorting items, paticipating in the assembly line, addressing labels or stacking boxes...I know that somewhere a soldier will receive this box and smile (or cry) because others thought of him/her. So often we back home take for granted our soft beds, the bustle of daily life, or the food we eat. When in reality, there are hundreds of thousands of men and women who go to work each day to protect our rights and freedoms. In this small way, I feel like I am saying Thank You to them...for all I have - every day!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
run more than 2 campaigns per year. Have more sorting or assembly opportunities on the weekends or evening hours (so many of us that would like to help out do work full time - extended hours periodically would be great!)
