My husband and I volunteered full-time with MBI for 3 years, serving at 13 different YWAM campuses in 10 different states. We volunteered in all sorts of capacities and connected with so many wonderful people.

Most of the locations where we served gave us free lodging and food in exchange for our labor. A few required fees. Some locations are set up for RV hookups.

No particular skills or training are required. They’ll match you up with whatever you are interested in, willing or able to try. You can volunteer for a week to 6 months at various locations, but we found the optimum stay was 2-3 months.

Whether you are on vacation or between employment, single or married, young or old, there are lots of great ways you can serve in the USA or abroad. The MBI application process is fairly simple, and the website will help you find places to go, based on your skills, where you’d like to be or what type of ministry you’d like to partner with.
