I just finished my internship at The Borgen Project as a PR/Marketing member and what a great experience it was! Not only was I able to advocate for the world's poor, but I also got out of my comfort zone and learned new skills that will help me in my career. Everyone was very helpful and kind when I needed help, especially my manager. The only thing that I see as a downfall is that it was a bit confusing for me at first (since I was an international intern) because I had to substitute some assignments; but once I had everything clear, it became one of the best experiences I had. I can assure you that you will not be the same once you complete this experience!
