Review for San Diego Dance Theatre, San Diego, CA, USA

I am lucky to be a part of San Diego Dance Theatre. My role with SDDT is 'work study student'. In exchange for helping out with events and around the studio I am bequeathed free instructional classes. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with Jean and her dancers and staff. Without dance I don’t know how I would define myself. San Diego Dance Theatre brings art to life in a very publically accessible way. Jean and her dancers give parts of themselves to the community, and both benefit more than either may cognitively realize.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my heart. I owe a lot to Jean and other instructors for allowing me to better understand myself through personal expression and movement.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give Jean more time and funding to produce new dances.

Role:  Volunteer & I helped maintain the studio and volunteered at dance events in exchange for classes. .
