I started volunteering with Step Up last year, and the experience I've had is truly incredible. I've met some awesome people that I now, not only do my podcast with, but can call my friends. I've tutored, written for their newsletter and all along I've felt like I'm at home as we are more like a family than just coordinators, supervisors and volunteers. Not only that, I feel like Step Up makes the world a little bit better with their free tutoring and letter-writing, it's a great place to start your volunteering journey.
