Review for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Duquesne, PA, USA
I am a member of the St. Philip Conference for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Council of Pittsburgh. We operate a local food bank for the residents of Crafton. We provide food once a month for between 50 to 60 families. We are one of the few food banks that deliver directly to the people we are blessed to serve. Every month I literally see the vital difference that the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank helps us make in the lives of our clients. The unique collaboration among GPCFB & the St. Philip Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides the most salient of gifts - Hope! The food GPCFB provides us enables us to help so many people of great need. I don't know what we and the people we serve would do without GPCFB.
