I can't say enough for the good work done by Terri Coutee and others associated with DiepCFoundation. Whether it be building community, advocacy, or educating women about their breast reconstruction options, this organization is the benchmark for nonprofits that seek to support women as they face a breast cancer diagnosis.

I discovered DiepCJourney on facebook more than a year after my surgery. When I had my surgery I had almost no one to talk to about what I had just been through, as this type of reconstruction is not that common. It is rare that an online support group is so well presented and curated to encourage women in their breast reconstruction journey. DiepCJourney became a way for me to give back by using my experience to help other women who had just begun their journey. The founder Terri Coutee, the devoted administrators and the women themselves deserve a standing ovation for the work they do and continue to do.
