A few years ago I returned from living and working overseas and wanted to identify a worthy non-profit organization I could help as a volunteer. Through friends I found MARR and learned about their good work bringing lasting recovery to alcohol and drug addicted individuals. I was fortunate not to need the services of MARR, but I was happy when asked to serve on its board. That was three years ago and I am so proud to be associated with their vital service to the Atlanta community and to the surrounding area. What makes MARR so special is the heart of its staff and their "everyday" commitment to helping those in need. As a board member I hope to support its efforts to extend their helping hands to as many as possible.
