Review for Sober Living America Inc, Atlanta, GA, USA
Sober Living America Dallas 2 is where I live now, but about 3 years ago I was a resident in Spartanburg SC. By the grace of God on 10/16/2021 I was accepted back. Lucky for me I made some life long friends who really care for the well being of others no matter what there at SLA. One of those is Jason who was and is a huge impact on my life and sobriety. Thanks to him answering a drunk lost man's phone call I was able to swallow my pride enough to ask him if I could come back. Never one time did any of the people I made friends with then try to make me feel bad about coming back but welcomed me back. When my physician told me I wouldn't see 2022 because of Congestive Heart Failure and that my heart was pumping at around 11%-15% it really hit home. Having had previous experience at multiple rehabs and detoxes SLA was the only place that worked for me. I just wanted to tell them thank-you from the bottom of my heart for giving me another chance at making myself proud and having a purpose in this crazy life! Levi, Jody, Jason, Terri, John E, Wally, Anthony just to name a few. Now the doctors are telling me that my heart is getting better. I am working a full-time job with an opportunity to be a permanent employee, going to the gym and lifting weights, working the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and making more life-long friends today! The staff here and at Dallas 1 are so helpful.. Jerry is such a great director and a positive impact on my sobriety. Thanks SLA! If you have addiction problems please give them a chance to help you and help yourself learn how to live a better life!
Happy Holidays
