The Keystone Elk Country Alliance has taught my 4th graders so much! For the past 2 years, they have provided us with a "Virtual Field" trip to Elk County and their center. Both guides we've had were wonderful! The information goes perfectly with our 4th-grade science curriculum. Vocabulary is reinforced and students are engaged in learning for about 45 minutes. They send a "trunk" that includes an actual elk pelt, skull, and antlers of both elk and deer for comparison. My students enjoyed this experience very much and it was provided for us at no cost, not even for shipping! I will hopefully share this experience with my students for years to come!
