Review for Springfield Rescue Mission (SRM), Springfield, MA, USA
I am a youth pastor in town and have brought my youth on numerous occassions to volunteer with this organization. We have had a full tour of their facility and met with the man in charge. He is clearly a man of God with a heart for changing mens lives. I have been extremely impressed with what they do. Working in the kitchen with a man who went through the program himself I saw firsthand how a drug adicted homeless person got back on his feet and is now making a difference in the world.
Every year we help them pack hundreds of back packs for underprivilaged children and we also help feed the hungry with them on occasion. This is a ministry that I enjoy helping and supporting because they are doing so much good in the name of Jesus.
