I have found that most support focuses on the patient so attending a retreat that also addressed the needs of the caregiver was so beneficial. Strength for Life was able to incorporate important information about coping with stress, nutrition and exercise in a manner that can easily be added to a normal daily routine. It feels good to be in a room with people who understand. I would highly recommend attending any of the SFL programs to anyone going through a cancer diagnosis.
