Review for Hugs Project Incorporated, Oklahoma City, OK, USA

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
My husband and me have been working with the Hugs Project for over 3 years. We have no one in service, but The Lord has blessed us in many ways so we want to give back. We look forward to Saturdays when we open the office in Oklahoma City, OK. and greet the volunteers who come to work. We assign them a job.

This project has opened up a new life for us. He is 84 and I'm 83.

Being Senior Citizens, our family wants us, but since they have their own families they don't always need us, so this fills that need.

When they leave and tell us what a great feeling they have for doing something for someone in harms way, we know our day was well spent.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

We just want to do more.

Role:  Volunteer & We make sandannas to keep sand out of their nose and mouth. Homemade board games on fabric so they can easily carry them. Cut fabric. Run group hugs. We do whatever we're asked and with a smile knowing we're helping the defenders of freedom.
