When I joined this Organization I did so with some hesitation because i have never belonged to a Veterans group and was uncomfortable sharing my past experiences of my military life with anyone else to include fellow Veterans. After i joined WWP i decided to apply for a Soldier Ride Skills and Drills event and was selected. WWP flew me to Tampa, Florida and for a few days not only did i get to ride a road bike i was also able to open up about my past experiences with people who understood because they also had similar experiences. I believe the entire staff with the WWP Soldier Ride are amazing! It is clear to see they enjoy their work because they made all of us feel so at ease and comfortable. I look forward to any other events from WWP and would love to go on another Solider Ride.
