I was looking for project for my Boy Scout Eagle project when I found The Hugs Project in 2009. I have been involved with them ever since. I like helping the soldiers and that is what this group does.

I have talked to a couple of guys who got care packages while they were deployed. They said how cool it was to get a package and to know that people back in the US care about them.

Role: Volunteer & I have packed care packages. I’ve made Hugs, which is what they call the cooling ties. I have handed out fliers about a fundraiser. .
