Review for Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences Inc, Doraville, GA, USA
I was in 1/2 way residential treatment for 4 months and 3/4 (independent) living for 6 months in 1990 and 1991. I participated in MARR's Recovering Professionals program from 1990 until 2000. Doug, Donny, Ewell Hardeman and the rest of the counselors were patient, helpful and unwavering in their work to help me and my peers get what we needed. I could not have recovered from alcoholism with-out MARR. The residential experience exposed me to others who had the same problem. The Professionals groups helped me see alcoholism in action and recovery from alcoholism by giving me a large peer group to mirror my self with.
