Completely impressed with the genuine dedication of the staff to making a difference in the lives of horses and one of the strongest volunteer communities I've ever seen.

I have volunteered with this organization and have witnessed the miraculous for nine years transformation of horses. Being a horse lover, this makes.my heart xtremely happy.
What I didn't anticipate was the amazing way the organization touches the lives of the people who volunteer here. They become family. I see them come together to daily to tend to the well-being of the horses as well as the organization and the community it supports & unites.

I started volunteering SAFE more than 8 years and have been impressed every step of the way. The integrity of the organization and the dedication of the people make an amazing difference in the lives of horses.

I discovered this rescue in 2008 after spending time with other equine related organizations. The huge difference for me was the honesty and professionalism among the group and it's supporters. I never expected to find quantifiable results but have now grown to expect it. It's level of care and follow through sold me early on and is the reason I chose to become part of the team.

I've learned so much about rescue, rehabilitation & general horse care since I met this group. I'm absolutely a better equestrian because of them.

Give them a bigger public presence. People need to see what this group does!

I came to them while they were working with horses from the herd my personal rescued horse came from and I just wanted to help. I have now worked with S.A.F.E. for 3 years and they've impressed me from the start with their commitment to the horses in their care by rescuing, rehabilitating, training (where age appropriate) and responsible rehoming. Although the connections began online, the organization is very "hands on" through every step of the process, including site checks and well checks on their alumni. The fact that they post their financial reports online and work hard to create a sense of community in their outreach programs makes this an amazing organization!

I feel that I've become a better equestrian in terms of my knowledge and experience though my interaction with the vast network of like minded people. I also am deeply moved by the stories of strength the horses show to survive and by the amazing dedication of the volunteers.

Give SAFE a louder voice. Their message needs to be heard.
