I am friends with someone who volunteers at PAALS and weekend fostered. One of the great things about PAALS is how much they appreciate their volunteers and fosters. PAALS does everything it can to support them. They hold regular training sessions with the fosters and make sure they are equipped to follow all the PAALS rules. It’s so important for the dogs to have those weekend breaks to revamp and relax. My friend devoted her entire weekend to the dog, and I’ve seen how hard it was for her when it was time to rotate to another dog. Yet, she continues to give and help the program. She says the end result is worth every bit of it. Hats off to all the fosters. It’s wonderful to see an organization working hand-in-hand with their volunteers. Together, they make it all happen.
