Review for Hackensack Riverkeeper Inc, Hackensack, NJ, USA
Hackensack Riverkeeper has almost single-handedly changed the discussion about the way that the Hackensack and Passaic Rivers are treated in northern New Jersey. This organization does invaluable work in educating this densely populated area about the isses affecting their local waterway, and they back up education with action! You should take a river trip through their eco-cruise program. Get out there in the Meadowlands and see what a rich resource we have just minutes from New York City.

Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA
Grist is absolutely the most reliable and enjoyable source of environmental and sustainable news. The Grist staff has perfected the ability to convey the news in a pertinent manner, while maintaining a sense of humor and tapping into the current cultural paradigm. I have worked in the environmental field for over 10 years and find the daily news I get from Grist to be refreshingly positive, while keeping me on top of what is going on.
