Ever since I took the MRT training with VYP a few years ago, I've been obsessed with helping to further their mission. Everyone is so passionate about the work, you can't help but get involved. Not only are they truly serving those who have served, they go above and beyond to reach out to their families, caregivers, and communities too. Everyone is constantly supporting each other and making sure each other succeed. They inspired me to become a yoga teacher, and I started volunteering for them teaching yoga to veterans anywhere my husband was recieving treatments. The classes I taught changed my life and theirs, and I've been volunteering and working for VYP ever since. I'm so honored and proud I found an organization fully in line with my own values as a human yogi, a volunteer, and as a veteran caregiver.
