Wisconsin Microfinance is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs in the developing world specifically, in Haiti and the Philippines but also educating Wisconsin on the global impacts of microfinance. The dedicated volunteers and board members embody some of the greatest values and they do incredible work in finding the best local partners and loan recipients. Wisconsin Microfinance's focus on empowering women, providing financial services to rural areas, and fostering environmental and economic sustainable development is inspiring. The case studies provided on their website show only a small glimpse into the extraordinary work they have done. I could not be more proud to have worked with them on marketing their work in the Madison community and sharing their vision for the role microfinance can play in alleviating poverty around the world.
