Wisconsin Microfinance is a special organization. Targeting the loans to women, in rural, undeveloped areas, where there are no good alternative sources of capital. Its run by all volunteers and has been successful for the last 11 years. When the goal is economic development and raising people out of poverty, I don’t think any organization can claim to do more.
