My Nonprofit Reviews

Laraine
Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA
As I work on my local environmental and conservation issues in meeting rooms filled mostly with grey heads, I rejoice that there is a youth-oriented publication like Grist. (Many of us "oldies" do subscribe and donate to Grist!) I am hopeful that the clever and clearly knowledgable Grist staff will continue to catch the attention of young and prime-of-life readers who will be engaged by the style and eventually, if not immediately, by the urge to take action and address the issues of the day. Thank you, Grist.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
using Grist content myself and also receiving Grist stories from other people involved in local conservation issues, as support or information for action on our causes.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
maybe try to get Grist into more mainstream advertising venues, but I know that's expensive.
