Review for Ryerss Farm For Aged Equines, Pottstown, PA, USA
When I first visited Ryerrs Farm for aged equines I was truly in awe of the pastoral, bucolic beauty of the place. It is set in what has become a safe and peaceful refuge for the horses and all who visit, surrounded by what has become an unfortunate example of American urban "sprawl".
The horses, the barns and the pastures are kept impeccably clean, and obviously cared for. Ryerrs has a fairly large herd and they still maintain a fantastic level of care that can only be described as perfection. I understand the effort it takes to maintain such a large herd of horses and the property that supports them. Growing up it was my task to help maintain a small herd of horses belonging to my family and it can be daunting to say the least.
I am honored to be a small part of such a phenomenal effort, and I look forward to volunteering more as time goes on.
