Review for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Duquesne, PA, USA

I have volunteered at a number of the Glean events--it was a lot of fun getting out on a farm and harvesting food from the source! I enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and see parts of PA I would not have ever ventured to see on my own.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Seeing that we are able to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to those in need was satisfying.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Have even more opportunities to glean! (there are already a number of opportunities, just need more on the weekend when I'm not working). :)

Role:  Volunteer & I spent a number of days picking apples and picking corn.
