My Nonprofit Reviews

I joined the Board of Directors for SAILS in June 2014. As a grieving mother, educator, and grief worker, I am so proud to be aligned with this wonderfully led and compassion-centered organization. From Executive Director Sadija A. Smiley to the rest of the Board of Directors to the volunteers, there is a great deal of enthusiasm and empathy in all aspects of this non-profit.
I participated in the August Survivor's Summit and enjoyed learning from a thoughtful line-up of presenters. And I am excited to be working with Sadija and the Board to plan a schedule of virtual events for 2022 that will deepen our education and advocacy offerings.
