Our son had been in Detox 4 times. overdosed to near death, and another recovery residence when we found MARR. Fear for his life controlled everything we did. The recommendation of others caused us to choose MARR at this critical time in our sons 10 years of a life of addiction. The counselors we initially met with did not sugar coat the seriousness of the disease or the necessity of our son being ready to do whatever it takes. We began seeing a change in him within a matter of weeks. The honesty, care, love, and instruction he received began to make wonderful changes in the person he had become. We began to see a shell of a man with no hope transfrom into a wonderful, loving, responsible hope-filled man. I've heard him say many times, God used MARR to give me my life back. The knowledge we gained in the Family Sessions was invaluable. It gave us tools to help our son in healthy ways and to stop enabling him to continue his life of addiction. I can't say enough about the integrity, compassion, and professionalism of this organization. We recommend it to anyone needing a place to recover from alcohol or drug addiction.
