I was a sponsor since 2017, and sponsored multiple chiildren at the same time. When Covid occurred, my family had four deaths almost all at the same time. We had to end our sponsorships, but were told it was "okay" and we could come back at any time. Six months later I attempted to sponsor one person (not the five I was sponsoring before) and I received a call from a very rude woman named Amy saying I was too risky and irresponsible to sponsor so they weren't going to let me be a sponsor anymore. I spent a lot of money on my sponsorships, even as far as sending them extra money on birthdays and traveling to the country my first sponsor child lived in through a awareness trip. This was just not okay.
