I loved volunteering at the California Native Plant Society Sacramento Chapter plant sale! I enjoyed meeting the staff, chatting with other volunteers, and learning more about native plants. Everyone was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to get me involved. Although I was new, the busy nursery head took me aside to explain the ropes and oversaw my work until I was comfortable to do it alone. I know I will definitely go back to volunteer not only for more plant sales, but for the other events they host.

I enjoy the webinars the overall nonprofit puts together, I appreciate the resources they have on their site, and I am glad to know they are a reliable resources for all things California native plants!
