Kars4Kids is a unique organization. The charity both: 1) assists those who want to donate their car, and 2) provides children of all ages, into young adulthood, a unique summertime experience in the physically and spiritually healthy outdoor environs of upstate New York. I have examined the charity, not as a recipient of its services but as an evaluator of its practices and as an observer of its impact on the lives of those children, as well as - and this is often an overlooked part of an evaluation - the positive effect on the lives of those who are responsible for those youth. It is the rare charity that can serve two different audiences so well.
