Giant Steps has been a wonderful addition to my life! I love this place. I came to Giant Steps six years ago as a casual volunteer, I didn't know a lot about equine therapy, so that's when my journey began. As a volunteer I learnt the value of helping others strengthen their bodies, gain confidence and learn to communicate despite the many challenges in their lives. The GS herd of therapy horses maintain patience and kindness through out all their requested duties. They bring this positive energy to the arena with every ride. The staff lead by Julie and Jen are so professional , kind and work as a wonderful team. The program has many diverse ways to help those who come to the GS Barn. I can only say that my experience has been echoed by the many friends and colleagues I've meet through my time at Giant Steps.
