I have been volunteering at Black Dawg for over two years, and I am constantly amazed how tirelessly Kelly and Tom work to give these animals a better life. Not only do they want the animals happy, healthy, and safe, they want their volunteers to enjoy their time on the farm and to be educated in animal care. Volunteers soon become invested in these animals, and every moment, happy or sad, is felt by many who consider themselves lucky to spend time here. I am so grateful to be part of this sanctuary!
