We had a sweet cockatiel for 20 years and was a patient of Dr. Burgess for most of her life. At the end of it, I took Pearl to Dr. Burge when she first became ill. Dr. Burge correctly diagnosed her ailment and warned us that the end was close. A couple of weeks later on our way back to the clinic, Pearl passed away. Dr. Burge and her staff confirmed Pearl was really gone. They could not have been more caring and supportive. They really care about all birds and their rescue does amazing work. I loved going into the rescue room and seeing all the beautiful birds they had rescued and were caring for. We need this facility in the KC area and are incredibly lucky to have it here.
